Before next summer it would be good to have some new outdoor furniture - wooden picnic tables and benches are suggested. These would be more expensive items that could be marked with the donors’ names.
New Pavilion

At last, after over 4 years of planning and hard work, we have a new clubhouse to be proud of. Hopefully the new building will add to the atmosphere of the club by providing a social focus which our thriving membership deserves.

Our thanks are due to project manager, John Hornby, architects, Pain and Phillips, and builder, David Munt, who have all worked hard to bring our plans to fruition.

Furniture and Fittings

Building the new clubhouse has exhausted our funds as predicted and, while we would like to furnish the new building in the style that it warrants, we are in danger of spending next year’s subs now leaving little for the Club’s general upkeep. We have bought a cooker, 2 fridges, 4 tables and 16 chairs but still need much more. The Treasurer would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to help the Club to make these purchases. The following is a list of items that we wish to buy:

Clock £60
Folding tables 7 @ £120
Chairs for functions 70 @ £30
Kettles 2 @ £30
Waste bin £10
Recycling boxes 2 @ £5
Beer/soft drink glasses 48 @ £1
Side plates 48 @ £4
Mugs 48 @ £1
